Chartered December 10, 1983, the Lorain County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (LCAC) is a service organization with stellar programming addressing diverse needs of the communities we serve. Since chartering, the chapter has maintained it’s commitment to the implementation of the Sorority’s National programs and the Five-Point Programmatic Thrust . Early programs of the Lorain County Alumnae Chapter included Jabberwock, Reading programs in Elyria, Lorain, and Oberlin; and, the Single Women Heads of Household Project - we strive to embody the core principles of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service.
